Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,April 15, 2019 <br /> Page 3 <br /> Mayor Roe reviewed the results of the city manager performance evaluation with <br /> the public. He noted the City Council received very positive feedback from the <br /> employees about the work environment and leadership being provided in the Or- <br /> ganization. The City Council has found Mr. Trudgeon' s performance to be very <br /> satisfactory and authorized the final STEP increase in salary bringing his pay <br /> from roughly $161,000 to $165,000. He stated the City Council appreciates the <br /> job Mr. Trudgeon has been doing for the City and looking forward to more years <br /> of success under Mr. Trudgeon' s leadership. <br /> City Manager Trudgeon stated this has been a great job in Roseville and appreci- <br /> ates the opportunity the Council has given him, and he considers himself very <br /> lucky and looks forward to continuing to serve the City of Roseville. <br /> Mayor Roe stated one of the outcomes of that discussion will be to work on some <br /> goals and objectives and measurable metrics for 2019 into 2020 for the next re- <br /> view and those goals and metrics will come back to the City Council for public <br /> action in the coming weeks. <br /> 6. Items Removed from Consent Agenda <br /> 7. Business Items <br /> a. Receive Update on Roseville Area Circulator Bus <br /> City Manager Patrick Trudgeon briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the <br /> RCA and related attachments dated April 15, 2019. <br /> Councilmember Groff understood the route was changed a little bit last fall and he <br /> wondered if there was any feedback regarding that change. He also wondered if <br /> this was an improvement. <br /> Scott Olson; representing Newtrax, stated in looking at the expansion piece, it has <br /> been going good from an operations standpoint but the messaging to the buildings <br /> involved in the Northeast corner has been difficult. Mr. Olson stated as he and <br /> Mr. Trudgeon have talked about next steps and how to remedy some of this, there <br /> was talk about reconvening some of the neighborhood parkers to get back in <br /> touch and find out how this can get more support from the community members <br /> to help with the messaging. The ones who have been using it really enjoy it but <br /> this needs to grow in order to continue. <br /> Mr. Olson noted approximately a week ago, he met with Mr. John Connelly of the <br /> Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Connelly will help with some <br /> of the outreach to different businesses for smaller pieces because he thought the <br /> net goal was to get the City down to a zero cost. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte asked what the City has done to engage the Alliance on <br /> this in the Rice/Larpenteur area. She also asked if there is opportunity for the <br />
