Council Discussion Councilmember Laliberte stated she had a question about the second Whereas. She indicated she did not know the exact title of the House Joint Resolution 540, but she wondered if the title was Pacific/Asian Pacific or was its Pacific Islanders because this was previously discussed at the joint meeting. Ms. Olson stated the original proclamation was designated as Pacific/Asian Pacif- ic American Heritage Week. She stated the language throughout the years has changed. Mayor Roe stated some work is still needed on the consistency of the language through this resolution. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten and Roe. Nays: None. c. Proclaim May as Older Adults Month Mayor Roe read the proclamation of May as Older Adults Month. Laliberte moved, Willmus seconded, proclaiming May as Older Adults Month. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten and Roe. Nays: None. Mayor Roe thanked the Human Rights, Inclusion, and Engagement Commission for taking on a substantial task to review all of the proclamations. 6. Items Removed from Consent Agenda a. Approve a Cigarette/Tobacco Products License City Manager Trudgeon briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the Request for Council Action (RCA) and related attachments dated April 22, 2019. He noted that late in the afternoon, staff received some additional information about the ap- plication that staff would like to have more time to review and suggested the City Council table action on this item to be brought back at the May 6th meeting pend- ing review of the information. Groff moved, Etten seconded, tabling consideration of this cigarette/tobacco products license.
