Commission Interviews The Council interviewed candidates for the Finance Commission and Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission, approximately 7:19 p.m. to 8:25 p.m. Recess and Reconvene Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 8:25 p.m., and reconvened at approximately 8:30 p.m. b. Consider Rezoning the Southwest Corner of 211 North McCarrons Boule- vard from Low Density Residential-2 (LDR-2) to Low Density Residential-1 (LDR-1) (PF18-016) City Planner Thomas Paschke briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the RCA and related attachments dated April 22, 2019. Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment, with no one coming for- ward. Etten moved, Willmus seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1570, entitled "Re- zoning the Southwest Corner of 211 McCarrons Boulevard North from an Official Map Classification of Low Density Residential-2 (LDR-2) District to Low Densi- ty Residential-1 (LDR-1) District." Council Discussion Councilmember Etten stated this was the original intention of the Council. He noted the packet states this item stems from the proposed development plan, but this is stemming from the communities' feedback and the Council's reaction to that. He indicated he supported the change from LDR-2 to LDR-1. Councilmember Willmus echoed Councilmember Etten's comments. He stated this really was the thought of the neighborhood and their prevailing desire to see this as LDR-1. Mayor Roe stated he appreciated this went through the process and that the actual plat meets the requirements of LDR-1. Roll Call Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten and Roe. Nays: None.
