Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, April 22, 2019 <br /> Page 6 <br /> Recess and Reconvene <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 7:15 p.m., and reconvened at approximately <br /> 7:19 p.m. <br /> 7. Business Items <br /> a. Commission Interviews <br /> The Council interviewed candidates for the Finance Commission and Human <br /> Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission, approximately 7:19 p.m. to 8:25 <br /> p.m. <br /> Recess and Reconvene <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 8:25 p.m., and reconvened at approximately <br /> 8:30 p.m. <br /> b. Consider Rezoning the Southwest Corner of 211 North McCarrons Boule- <br /> vard from Low Density Residential-2 (LDR-2) to Low Density Residential-1 <br /> (LDR-1) (PF18-016) <br /> City Planner Thomas Paschke briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the RCA <br /> and related attachments dated April 22, 2019. <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment, with no one coming for- <br /> ward. <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1570, entitled "Re- <br /> zoning the Southwest Corner of 211 McCarrons Boulevard North from an Official <br /> Map Classification of Low Density Residential-2 (LDR-2) District to Low Densi- <br /> ty Residential-1 (LDR-1) District." <br /> Council Discussion <br /> Councilmember Etten stated this was the original intention of the Council. He <br /> noted the packet states this item stems from the proposed development plan, but <br /> this is stemming from the communities' feedback and the Council's reaction to <br /> that. He indicated he supported the change from LDR-2 to LDR-1. <br /> Councilmember Willmus echoed Councilmember Etten's comments. He stated <br /> this really was the thought of the neighborhood and their prevailing desire to see <br /> this as LDR-1. <br /> Mayor Roe stated he appreciated this went through the process and that the actual <br /> plat meets the requirements of LDR-1. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br />
