Regular City Council Meeting
Monday,June 17, 2019
Page 10
Mayor Roe thought that needed to be addressed.
Councilmember Willmus thought this was the very thing that the Planning Com-
mission had worked on for quite some time that came as a result of the asphalt
plant conversation and some of the commercial property owners who did not
know what was occurring. He stated a subset of the Planning Commission
worked on this commercial notification aspect.
City Manager Trudgeon thought the disconnect was the land use process the ten-
ants are notified but this is a noise variance, which is a different part of the code.
It is very similar and should be treated the same, which he did not disagree with
the Council on.
Mayor Roe understood but thought it needed to be fixed.
City Planner Paschke noted the City did go through a process known as the ex-
panded notification process but it is only for those things that require open houses
such as Conditional Use or Variances or other actions.
Roll Call
Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, Groff and Roe.
Nays: None.
Recess
Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 8:02 p.m., and reconvened at approximately
8:10 p.m.
d.
