Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,August 26, 2019 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, proclaiming September 15, 2019 to October 15, <br /> 2019 Hispanic Heritage Month. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 6. Items Removed from Consent Agenda <br /> 7. Business Items <br /> a. Planning Commission Interviews (2 Vacancies) <br /> The Council interviewed candidates for the Planning Commission from approxi- <br /> mately 6:07 p.m. to 6:12 p.m. <br /> Recess <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 6:12 p.m. due to disruptive audience members <br /> and reconvened at approximately 6:14 p.m. <br /> The Council continued interviewing candidates for the Planning Commission <br /> from approximately 6:14 p.m. to 6:17 p.m. <br /> Recess <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 6:17 p.m. to wait for the next interview candi- <br /> date to arrive. The meeting reconvened at approximately 6:20 p.m. It was indicated the meeting <br /> would continue with the next agenda item. <br /> b. Adopt a Resolution Approving the Rosedale Center Seventh Addition Pre- <br /> liminary and Final Plat at 1815 Highway 36 West <br /> City Planner Thomas Paschke briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the Re- <br /> quest for Council Action and related attachments dated August 26, 2019. <br /> Councilmember Groff asked if there is any information about how the stormwater <br /> is going to be handled. <br /> Mr. Paschke indicated there was not any further information because staff does <br /> not have any plans for the development and will not be reviewing it until a pro- <br /> posal comes forward. <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment, no one appeared to speak. <br /> Councilmember Laliberte indicated the meeting was running ahead of schedule <br /> and asked staff if there was anyone anticipated to be at the meeting for this item. <br /> Mr. Paschke indicated there was not anyone anticipated speaking to this, just <br /> someone to answer possible questions from the Council. <br />
