Adopt a Resolution Approving the Fairview Avenue Addition Preliminary <br /> Plat to Subdivide the Subject Property into Two Lots for Development of a <br /> Medical Office Building and an Apartment Facility, Adopt a Resolution Ap- <br /> proving the Fairview Avenue Addition Final Plat, and Adopt a Resolution <br /> Approving the Proposed Multifamily Residential Development as a Condi- <br /> tional Use (PF19-016) - continued <br /> The Council returned to consideration of Fairview Avenue Addition Preliminary <br /> Plat, Final Plat, and the Proposed Multifamily Residential Development as a Con- <br /> ditional Use(PF 19-016) <br /> Mayor Roe offered the applicant an opportunity to make a presentation or answer <br /> questions from the City Council. <br /> Mr. Kyle Brasser, Reuter Walton <br /> Mr. Brasser indicated he was representing the developer on the project. He pro- <br /> vided a brief presentation to the Council. <br /> Mr. Brasser noted there was one request to one of the conditions proposed regard- <br /> ing the timing of the payment of the park dedication fee. As it relates to the final <br /> plat, the way this transaction is structured there will be two owners. One owner <br /> for the apartments, one for the medical office portion, and closing on the property <br /> this week. He indicated the plat needs to be finalized prior to closing so the two <br /> separate property owners can acquire the property and are requesting that pay- <br /> ment of the park dedication fee be pushed out to the time the full building permit <br /> is pulled to allow for the construction financing to be in place. <br /> Mr. Brasser indicated he was happy to answer any questions of the Council. <br /> Councilmember Etten asked what the expected delay and timing on that would be. <br /> Mr. Brasser indicated it would be a couple of months, giving them time to get <br /> their construction financing lined up and close on that. He believed it would be <br /> close to sixty days. <br /> Mayor Roe wondered if it made sense to have some kind of agreement in place <br /> with the city as to the timing of a payment. <br /> • <br /> Ms. Gundlach explained the developer brought this to staff's attention on Friday. <br /> If the Council is willing to entertain the request, staff would propose that the lan- <br /> guage on Condition C be modified.
