Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, September 9, 2019 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Mr. Vance Morey, President of the North Suburban Golden K Kiwanis Club, <br /> along with Club Members Ery Oelke and Max DeLong made a presentation to the <br /> Council. <br /> Mayor Roe read the proclamation declaring Friday, September 20, 2019 as Rose- <br /> ville Golden K Kiwanis Peanut Day. <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, proclaiming Friday, September 20, 2019 as Ro- <br /> seville Golden K Kiwanis Peanut Day. <br /> Council Discussion <br /> Mayor Roe indicated the Kiwanis Club's $21,000 figure as well as the 5,000 <br /> hours of volunteer service is tremendous for an organization this size in this <br /> community. Roe commented that the city appreciates all of the work done in the <br /> community by the Kiwanis. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Laliberte, Etten, Willmus, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Recess <br /> Mayor Roe recessed the meeting at approximately 6:11 p.m. and reconvened at approximately <br /> 6:12 p.m. for a group photo with the Kiwanis Club. <br /> 6. Consider of Presumptive Penalty Approval—Famous Daves <br /> Deputy Police Chief Erika Scheider briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the <br /> Request for Council Action and related attachments dated September 9, 2019. <br /> Mr. David Jackson and Mr. Matt Anderson, Famous Dave's representatives, ex- <br /> plained Famous Dave's has not been in any previous violations since it opened in <br /> June 1996.
