Vendor shall include the proposed size of replacement trees in their proposals. <br />Vendor shall propose a type of replacement tree (root ball or burlapped)? <br />Vendor shall provide a standard one year warranty for any planted trees. <br />Vendor shall be responsible for maintenance (including watering) of <br />replacement trees during the warranty window. <br />All plantings must occur in compliance with an accepted tree planting <br />guideline (proposer should specify which guideline they will use). <br />o Treatment <br />Vendor is responsible for safely implementing treatment (if proposed) in <br />accordance with best practices and all state and federal regulations. <br /> Highlight, as a part of the proposal, potential modifications that result in more efficient, <br />enduring, and cost-effective construction or constructed result, providing that the core <br />program requirements. <br /> Prepare and maintain a detailed schedule of activities and milestones demonstrating <br />completion of projects by dates defined in this request for proposals; identify all <br />activities of the City of Roseville necessary to maintain adherence to the proposer’s <br />schedule; identify points where risks may impact project schedule; <br /> Identify and construct all improvements that result in a complete and readyto use Park <br />improvement <br /> Coordinate allactivities to achieve efficiencies in scheduling, cost, and access to <br />portions of parks not under construction; <br /> Accommodate, to the greatest degree possible, recreation programs planned to occur at <br />parks (per ATTACHMENT J); if interruption of programs must occur, the contractor <br />shall identify anticipated interruption dates in a detailed schedule provided to the City <br />of Roseville during the contract clarification stage; <br /> Provide all necessary protections for the public in parks undergoing improvement <br />including, but not limited to, fencing, barricades, notices and warnings, and other <br />methods of securing the construction site from public access and instructing the public <br />in use of the park during construction activities; <br /> Provide any necessary traffic control duringimplementation activities, including <br />activities that might require a closure of a public street or right-of-way; <br /> Maintain sufficient supervisory personnel to maintain progress on all portions of this <br />proposal package toward milestone and completion dates identified in the proposer’s <br />project schedule; <br /> Obtain all necessary permits and approvals necessary to construct the improvements; <br /> Provide a comprehensive inventory of all trees planted and removed as part of this <br />program. <br /> Perform other tasks typical to this type of construction project and necessary for <br />satisfactory completion and acceptance of the constructed result. <br /> The City intends to extend the public engagement process that has been instrumental <br />in defining the Parks and Recreation Renewal Program through the process of <br />implementing improvements in parks throughout the community. Building awareness <br />of the improvements beyond signs, public notices, and obvious construction activities <br />is an important aspect of this stage of the renewal program. The City is interested in <br />supporting a proposer's ideas for engaging the public during implementation, <br />particularly but not exclusively for those neighborhoods nearest construction sites. <br />Page 10 of 11 <br />20 <br /> <br />
