Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, December 2, 2019 <br /> Page 14 <br /> Council Discussion <br /> Councilmember Etten indicated the discussion at the time was Item 3 in Attach- <br /> ment A, which dealt with the administrative fee for Council abatement, figuring <br /> about five hours or more, and charging $350. The Temporary Overnight Shelter <br /> License will take 2-3 hours of staff time and we are charging $350. The Council <br /> was looking to align those a little more and also in consideration of supporting the <br /> work these organizations are doing for people in need. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, Groff and Roe. <br /> Nays: None <br /> Etten moved, Groff seconded, adoption of Ordinance No.1578 entitled, "An Ordi- <br /> nance Amending Chapter 314.05, Fee Schedule Adopting the 2020 Fee Sched- <br /> ule," as amended. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, Groff and Roe. <br /> Nays: None <br /> Willmus moved, Groff seconded, adoption of Ordinance Summary No. 1578 enti- <br /> tled, "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 314.05, Fee Schedule. Adopting the <br /> 2020 Fee Schedule." <br /> Roll Call(Super Majority Required) <br /> Ayes: Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, Groff and Roe. <br /> Nays: None <br /> f. Adopt the 2020 Utility Rates <br /> Interim Finance Director Jason Schirmacher briefly highlighted this item as de- <br /> tailed in the Request for Council Action and related attachments dated December <br /> 2, 2019. <br /> Mayor Roe noted the impact for a typical single-family home per quarter the cur- <br /> rent bill is approximately $173 and under the proposed changes it would be ap- <br /> proximately $182, an increase of approximately nine dollars per quarter or 5.2 <br /> percent. <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for the public comment, with no one coming <br /> forward. <br /> Groff moved, Etten seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 11658 entitled, "Reso- <br /> lution Establishing the 2020 Utility Rates." <br />
