Lincoln Ave. Roll Call Ayes: Laliberte, Etten, Willmus, Groff and Roe. Nays: None. d. Public Hearing to Consider Resolution Approving the Vacation of County Road B West of Trunk Highway 280 City Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director Jesse Freihammer briefly high- lighted this item as detailed in the Request For Council Action and related at- tachments dated November 25, 2019. Mr. Trudgeon updated the Council on the publication notice. It was noted no written comments were received from the public. Mayor Roe reviewed public hearing protocol and opened the public hearing at ap- proximately 7:35 p.m. Public Comment Mr. Patrick Fisher Mr. Fisher explained he was the property manager for the property to the south which is the Pacal Business Center. He indicated they object to the vacation of the road because the business pays taxes, has asked for the road to be repaired be- fore, and his company actually plows the road as well. Part of the issue is he just received the packet regarding this and has not had time to review it. With no one else appearing to speak, Mayor Roe closed the public hearing at ap- proximately 7:37 p.m. Councilmember Willmus understood maintaining the easement for utility infra- structure rehab below the surface of the roadway but as it currently is, he ques- tioned if there any public purpose for that roadway at this point.
