Currently, staff are preparing for a mailing in late January or early February to inform business, non- profits, faith organizations, etc., about the new voluntary program. In the following months, staff will send out multiple mailings and social media posts to advertise for the program. The City is also working with Hennepin County and CEE to provide free workshops to interested properties that want to track their energy consumption. • Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District New Citizen Advisory Committee Openings o The Ramsey -Washington Metro Watershed District invites area residents interested in local water management to apply for one of the open seats on the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC is comprised of volunteers with a shared commitment to preserving clean water. Members strengthen the ties between RWMWD and the community by bringing forward resident ideas and concerns. They provide guidance on the Watershed District vision, review plans and projects, support education and outreach efforts, and plan the Watershed Excellence Awards.
