Currently, staff are <br />preparing for a mailing in late January or early February to inform business, non- <br />profits, faith organizations, etc., about the new voluntary program. In the <br />following months, staff will send out multiple mailings and social media posts to <br />advertise for the program. The City is also working with Hennepin County and <br />CEE to provide free workshops to interested properties that want to track their <br />energy consumption. <br />• Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District New Citizen Advisory Committee <br />Openings <br />o The Ramsey -Washington Metro Watershed District invites area residents <br />interested in local water management to apply for one of the open seats on the <br />Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC is comprised of volunteers with a <br />shared commitment to preserving clean water. Members strengthen the ties <br />between RWMWD and the community by bringing forward resident ideas and <br />concerns. They provide guidance on the Watershed District vision, review plans <br />and projects, support education and outreach efforts, and plan the Watershed <br />Excellence Awards. Applications are being accepted through February 4 h. <br />Interested applicants can view more information and complete an application at <br />www.rwmwd.ore/about/citizen-advisorv-committee. <br />
