• Cleveland Watermain Project <br />o The contract for this project was awarded on February 22 to SGP Contracting, Inc. <br />Work involved the replacement of the watermain between County Road C2 and County <br />Road D. Work began May 171'. All work is complete on the project. <br />St Rose of Lima Drainage Improvements <br />o Bids were opened on February 3 and a contract was awarded to OMG Midwest on <br />February 22. The project is a joint project with Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed <br />District. Work involves reducing the impervious amount of the parking lot, installation <br />of rain gardens and installation of an underground storage system. The improvements <br />will reduce runoff and provide treatment which should help reduce flooding in the <br />neighborhood. Work began on July 16. The majority of the parking lot improvements <br />are completed and is ready for use related to the State Fair. The underground storm <br />sewer work has been delayed due to contaminated soils, but is expected to be completed <br />by mid -September. <br />• Marion Street Pathway <br />o Bids were opened on August 17. The project is expected to be awarded on August 23. <br />o Work involves the installation of aggregate base, paving, ADA curb ramps and signage <br />related to a new trail being completed in conjunction with the Enclave Development <br />which will connect the trail on South McCarron's Boulevard to Marion Street. The <br />project is funded using Community Development Block Grant Funds. The work should <br />be completed by early October. <br />Ramsey County Updates <br />• County Road B2 Resurfacing and Signal Improvements <br />o This summer the County plans to resurface County Road B2 between Fairview Avenue <br />and Hamline Avenue. As part of the project, they will be replacing four signal lights in <br />the corridor and upgrading curb ramps to meet ADA compliance. Additionally, a new <br />pathway will be installed on the north side of County Road B2, under the Snelling <br />Avenue bridge between the ramps. Work is expected to begin in late August and last <br />into early November. All signals, except the signal at Fairview, will be operated as all <br />way stops for the duration of the project in order to accelerate the completion of the <br />proj ect. <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation updates: <br />• I-35W MnPASS project- <br />httn://www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/vroiects/35wnorthmnnass/index.html <br />o All major work on this project is completed. The signal at Long Lake Road and the <br />southbound 35W ramps is ongoing but should be completed by September. <br />Sustainability Update <br />• Partners in Energy (PiE) <br />o Staff are meeting with PiE every other week to discuss the current work and the next <br />steps to implement the plan. Staff just wrapped up creating a map to help determine <br />what properties in Roseville meet the criteria in the plan for potential energy burdened <br />households: Property value less than $254,200, built before 1980, and no permits for <br />building improvements for the past 30 years. This data will be used for upcoming <br />mailings in September. <br />o Staff started working on communication items for education and outreach. The <br />webpages are being updated to provide additional information, mailings are being <br />developed for Energy Burdened households, etc. Staff also started coordinating with <br />
