Inasmuch as <br />tlley are both county roads, the matter was referred to the 'County Surveyors office. <br /> <br />The plat on Fernwood Terrace was presented for approval. Willmus moved, <br />seconded by Hammersten that the Fernwood Terrace Plat 1 be approved. Roll call <br />Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Jesse appeared requesting permission to divide some land he owns (264 ft. <br />frontage) into lots of 66 ft. frontage rather than 75 ft. frontage. Membrez moved, <br />Hammersten seconded, that Jœ. Jesse be permitted to make four lots with 66 ft. <br />frontage and 300 ft. depth which will give each lot a total of approximately <br />20,000 sq. ft. located in the <br /> <br />"East 300 Ft. of the South 264 Ft. of the North 659.97 Ft. of the <br />West 1/2 of the NW l/4 of the S¥f 1/4 of Section 14, Town 29, Range 23W, <br />, subject to Oy.ford street." <br /> <br />Roll call AyeÐ-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />The Clerk read a petition from the Sunset Memorial Park Association to <br />rezone from Farm Residence to tndustrial District the following described property: <br /> <br />"The easterly 700 Ft. of the tract of land located in the North 1/2 of the <br />NW 1/4 of Section 8, Township 29, Range 23, lying West of the Minnesota <br />Transfer Railway &ld between Minneapolis & st. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Karon suggested that in the future the Zoning Board give its own opinion <br />on rezonings as to good plæming and location regardless of whether there is <br />opposition or not. <br /> <br />Mr. Borden presented a petition requesting permission to erect a garage into <br />an incline on his property (Lot 9, Block 1, Roseville Heights) closer than the <br />reqvired 30 ft. set-back. Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten, that the petition <br />be accepted and public hearing be held on MaJ' 19, 1953 at 2:00 P.M. Roll call <br />Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Hite appeared concerning policies up for renewal in May. One was Burglary <br />1I1SUrmlCe covering stock at the liquor stores. The other was Fire Insurance <br />covering the contents and fixtures at the stores. Mr. Hite suggested that the <br />furniture æld fixtures be covered under a separate policy on a three year term. <br />Connor moved, Hammersten seconded, that the fixtures and furniture at the liquor <br />stores be insured separate from the merchandise in the amount of $2,000.00 in each <br />store on a three year term. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, seconded by Connor, that the ~y Insurance policy <br />and Fire Insurance in the amount of $10,000 coverage on the stock of liquor be <br />written.
