<br />Continued Page 3. <br /> <br />There was a discussion on whether the justices of peace should hold <br />court at the municipal office building, whether the cases should be <br />divided between the two jUdges, etc. Karon stated that the Council <br />does not have the authority to set up a system for the constables or <br />the justices of the peace. The organization must be done by them. It <br />was decided that the constables and judges meet on July l3~h at 7 P.M. <br />to try to work out a better system of policing and holding court and <br />that as many members of the Council as can,meet with them. <br /> <br />The hearing on the over-all street plan for Section 15 was called <br />by Mayor Connor. Milner Carley, Village Engineer, presented the plan as <br />prepared by his office explaining the various streets. and how they will <br />be laid out for future development. Hammersten moved, Willmus seconded, <br />that Mr. Karon draw up the proper resolution to be submitted with the <br />over-all plan of Section 15 to the Register of Deeds for recording. <br />Roll call Ayes-(5) N~es-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Carley also reported that other sections are now ready for <br />hearing, including everything South of County Road B (Sections 13, 14, <br />N 1/2 of 16, N 1/2 of 17). Sheriff's office and the Ramsey County Sheriff's office <br />and the Credit Bureau. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Carlson, that all license applications be <br />approved with the exception of the one for the Depot. Roll call Ayes-(5) <br />Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />lIr. Peterson and lIr. Kaplan from the Depot appeared to give the <br />Council their previous experience and complete their applications. Membrez <br />moved, seconded by Carlson, that if the reports obtained by the Clerk <br />are satisfactory, that the license be issued forthe Depot.
