<br />Page 2. <br /> <br />Report was read from Carley on the plat for the Kay~Reen Addition. <br />He suggested that the developer furnish us with a contour map and a <br />design dedicating a 30 ft. right of way for Pascal Ave. between Ryan St. <br />and Skillman Ave. Membrez moved, Connor seconded, that Mr. Armstrong, <br />the surveyor, be notified that a contour map be supplied the Village <br />Council before aqy action can be taken on the proposed plat of Kay-Reen <br />Addition, as already called to the attention of Mr. West of the Plst <br />Commission. The Council is also of the opinion that Pascal Ave. be <br />opened up. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-CO). <br /> <br />Mr. Lindstrom, Deitermann, andSchleicher appeared to find out why <br />Woodbridge St. betweeen Maple Lane and So. Owasso Blvd. had never been <br />accepted by the Village and maintained. The property was sold to them <br />with the understanding that the street had been accepted. Membrez moved, <br />Carlson seconded, that the matter be referred to the engineer for <br />complete investigation back to township days, if necessary, and that <br />he have a full report at the next meeting. Krannak asking for the vacating <br />of Dunlap St. from the North line of Larpenteur Ave. to a point 293 ft. <br />North from Larpenteur. 14embrez moved, seconded by Hammersten, that the <br />petition be accepted and public hearing be held on September 1, 1953. <br />Roll call ~es-(4) Nayes-CO). <br /> <br />Clerk read a letter from Margaret and Dorothy Lindig aSking for the <br />acceptance by the Village of the South 30 ft. of Eldridge and the North <br />30 ft. of Skillman between Hamline and Pascal, and also the East 30 ft. <br />of Pascal between Eldridge and Skillman. Hammersten moved, seconded by <br />Connor, that this matter be referred to Carley for a report. after check- <br />ing the type of gravel that had been placed on the road. Roll call <br />Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />A letter from Philip Troy of the Golden Rule was read, regarding <br />minimum requirements for sewer and water at the proposed Allied Stores <br />development on Snelling and T .H. 36. Carley spote of a meeting with high- <br />way department engineers, and they said that t hey did not know anything <br />about the sewage and drainage problems but seemed to be willing to go <br />along with the Village on planning if they can start at the bottom and <br />have all basic information ahead of time. They are interested in the <br />drainage plan we have calling for the drainage to run North. <br /> <br />Connor moved, Membrez seconded, that the Clerk send a letter to <br />Mr. Troy of the Golden Rule in answer to his letter of July 31, 1953. <br />This letter is to be drafted by Mr. Carley and Mr. Karon relating to storm <br />drainage of their property and its drainage into County Ditch No.4. <br />Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes- (0). <br /> <br />The question of a sanitary sewerage connection with the City of <br />Minneapolis was discussed, and Carley thought we should first inquire <br />what information they would require.
