<br />Continued Page 3. <br /> <br />Mr. Krannak stated that he has been told by attorneys that it isn't <br />even necessary for the Council to act on this, but that it coulè be done <br />by the State or County authorities. <br /> <br />Connor said that probably the next step should be for Krannak and <br />Margolis to bring in plans and have the engineer examine them. Then <br />we can have the whole thing in plan, including the builèings, and Carley <br />could make further study of this entire situation. <br /> <br />Connor moved, Carlson seconded, that we continue the hearing on the <br />vacation of Dunlap Street to October 6th. Roll call Ayes-(L) Naye~-(O). <br /> <br />Thos. Schifsky appeared to discuss with the Council some agreement <br />for reimbursing him for the use of the dog pound. Hamrnersten moved, <br />Carlson seconded, that Schifsky be paid at the rate of 50¢ a day for <br />each dog's keep and $1.00 for each burial. Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Carlson moved, HamIDersten seconded, that the necessary forms for <br />records between Bahneman and Schifsky be printed. Roll call Ay-es-(L) <br />Nayes-( 0). <br /> <br />Clerk read petition from residents of Garcelon's Ardition and <br />Lauderdale's East Side Addition asking that this area be detached from <br />the Village of Roseville and annexed to the Village of Lauderdale. <br />Jas. Lynch, Jr. and Karl Klohn were present to discuss the petition. <br />They request this action to avail themselves of the water and sewer <br />facilities which have been unofficially promised them if the annexa- <br />tion is granted. <br /> <br />Mayor Connor said the report these people received from Mayor Allen <br />did not coincide wi+h what Minneapolis Eng. Dept. has told him as to <br />what would be possible for that area. Mr. Lynch said these people feel <br />they are part of Lauderdale as they shop there and their children attend <br />school in Lauderdale. Mr. Klohn said they are not petitioning for any <br />of our inòustrial area. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Connor seconded, that the matter be referred to <br />the Technical Committee for investigation and a report back to the Council. <br />Roll call Ayes-(4) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. L~~ch also hoped that a decision could be made in the very near <br />future so that work could be done on the sewer lines, etc. this Fall. <br /> <br />Mr. Connor also said that when the investigation is completed, they <br />will contact Mr. Lynch. <br /> <br />Jurgensen Plat was presented for approval. It is located North of <br />Roselawn about 1/8 mile. Hammersten moved, Connor seconded, that the <br />plat be referred to Carley to check against existing plats of that area <br />and a report be made on October 6th. Roll call Ayes-(L) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Herb Krengel appeared concerning push plows for winter work (Austin- <br />Western Company). Matter referred to Road Committee for study. <br /> <br />Application was presented from Neil and Hubbard Company to install <br />gas burners in Roseville. Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded, that a <br />license be grrolted them.
