<br />Fage 2. <br /> <br />The Northern States Prestressed Concrete Company is to present two sets of <br />plans on application for Building Permit. <br /> <br />Ernest Markham presented signed petitions demanding a primar,y election <br />system for the Village of Roseville. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten the petition be accepted and given <br />to Mr. Karon for report and placed on file. Roll call Ayes-(5) Nayes-(O). <br /> <br />Mr. Karen reported the names on the petition should be checked against the <br />registration cards to determine how many proper signatures there were. <br />He belieTed there were between 400 and 500 signatures and SOlie looked <br />like the same handwriting for both Mr. and Mrs. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Connor, that the Clerk be authorized to hire I <br />extra hilp (at $2.00 per hour) to check the petition for a Primary Election <br />which has to be done in 1, days. Roll call Ayes-(5) Hayes-(O). <br /> <br />Membrez suggested that publicity be given on the cost of the petition for a <br />primary election. <br /> <br />Mr. Villeaux presented more detailed plans to the council for npopsn <br />Restaurant that he plans on building on the N.E. corner of Snelling and <br />Co. Rd. "B·. <br /> <br />)dr. Connor asked if there were any objections to the building as far as our <br />Building Code was concerned. <br /> <br />Mr. Willmus reported the Northern States Power Company requests a , ft. <br />clearing at the back end of the lot. <br /> <br />Kr. Karon reported nothing in our ordinance covers this provision. <br /> <br />Connor suggested Mr. Villeaux see the N.S.P.Co. in regard to the , ft. <br />clearing. <br /> <br />The Village Engineer and the Building Inspector objected to the limited <br />space for parking but as far as the Building Code is concerned there are <br />no objections. <br /> <br />Willmaa maved, Connor seconded, that a special permit be issued to Mr. <br />Villeaux to place this restaurant on this lot when his detailed plans <br />are presented. <br /> <br />Mr. Edward Krier appeared before the council in regard to the transfer of <br />the licenses of the Depot Nite Club. <br /> <br />The clerk read a letter dated October 19th from Vincent F. Courtney and <br />read an affidavit stating the licenses cannot be found which were issued <br />to Kapplan and Peterson in July. <br /> <br />The licenses have been assigned to Mr. Uhler by Kaplan and Peterson. <br /> <br />Mr. Krier was requested to fill out an application to be acted on at the <br />continued meeting on Saturday morning_ <br /> <br />39 R <br /> <br />Petition for <br />Primary <br />Election <br />System <br /> <br />"Fops" <br />Restaurant <br /> <br />Depot Nite <br />Club <br />Licenses <br />
