Attachment C <br />38 are related by blood, marriage, or adoption plus children who are under foster <br />39 care; or <br />40 2.Up to four people not so related; or <br />41 3.Any group of people, if no more than two adult members function as the heads of <br />42 the household group and the remaining members are dependent upon them for <br />43 care and direction due to age, physical disability, a mental incompetency, or for <br />44 other reasons; or <br />45 4.Any individual, who is the owner, livingand maintaining a common household <br />46 and using a common cooking and kitchen facility. <br />47 C.Local Agent: Owner’s representative who resides in any of the following Minnesota <br />48 counties: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington, and is <br />49 authorized by the owner to make or order repairs or services for the property if in <br />50 violation of the City orState Codes. <br />51 D.Owner: A person, agent, firm, or corporation having a legal or equitable interest in the <br />52 property. In any corporation or partnership, the term owner includes general partners and <br />53 corporate officers. <br />54 E.Person: Includes individual, as well as,business entities, whether one or more. <br />55 F.Rent: Includes money or services in exchange for occupation of the unit. <br />56 G.Short-Term Rental:The entirety of adwelling unit rented for a period of thirty (30) <br />57 consecutive daysor less. The use of short-term rentals solely for holding a commercial <br />58 or social event is prohibited. The use of recreational vehicles, campers or other similar <br />59 vehicles for short-term rentals is prohibited. <br />60 H.Unit: All or a portion of a residential property that is arranged, designed, used, or <br />61 intended to be used as separate living quarters and which is leased to an individual or <br />62 group. <br />63 <br />64 909.03: LICENSE REQUIRED: <br />65 <br />66 A.Itshall be unlawful for any person tohereafter occupy, allow to be occupied, or let to <br />67 another person for occupancyany residential property within the City for which an <br />68 application for a short-term rental licensehas not been properly made and filed with the <br />69 City or after the time that alicenseis suspended or revoked. Applications for licensure <br />70 shall be as required by Chapter 301 of City Code, and shall be made upon forms <br />71 furnished by the City for such purpose and shall specificallyrequire the following <br />72 minimum information: <br />73 1. Name, street address, emailand phone number of the property owner. <br />74 2. The name, street address, email and phone number(s), of alocal agentauthorized <br />75 to make or order repairs or services for the property, if in violation of City or <br />76 State Codes, if the person is different than the owner. <br />77 3. The street address of the short-term rental property. <br />78 4. The type of units within the rental property (single family, twin-home, townhome, <br />79 condo, duplex, triplex or fourplex). <br />80 5. The number of bedrooms in the unit. <br />81 6. Certification and attestation that the maximum occupancy per unit is either 4 or <br />82 less unrelated adults or one familypursuant to Roseville City Codes 906.06 and <br />83 1001.10. <br />2 <br /> <br />
