As evidence and assurance of the contractor’s ability to construct the project and support the
Owner’s system with service the contractor installing and constructing the primary and
secondary refrigeration systems must have successfully installed and constructed AMMONIA
refrigeration systems for five (5) ice rink construction projects that are similar to this project
and completed within the past five (5) years. Submit information on each project. Submittal
shall be on company letterhead, signed by an authorized representative of the company and
include project description, portion of project completed by the company, location,
construction cost, completion date, owner's name, owner's representative, phone number
and completion date of work.

The Corval Group listed one ice rink project, constructed seven (7) years ago, where they stated a
new compressor room and rink floor were installed for $196,726. They listed four (4) other ice
rink facilities where they had maintenance and service contracts ranging in total value from
$50,000 to $200,000 each for a 3-5 year period between 2017-2022. It was confirmed with the
Corval Group that the work listed for these four (4) ice rink projects was maintenance and service
type work and not new equipment installation. They provided information on other industrial
grade ammonia projects completed in the last five (5) years that are not ice rink related projects.
Based on the information that the Corval Group has provided, it does not meet the requirements
or intent of Section 181811.1.02.A.1.

We have also reviewed the bid information submitted by Total Mechanical Services, Inc. and find
no irregularities that would cause us to be concerned with their bid. They have experience with
this type of specialty work, and they are using experienced subconsultants.

Bid Package 2 - Site
The table below lists the four (4) lowest bids of the nine that were received.
