He noted he would
request the Council give authority to abate but should the Council wish to stay the
enforcement for a specific time as it has been done in the past, he would be open to
that as well.
Councilmember Groff asked what a reasonable amount of time would be to stay
that directive. The
condition on this property has been in a similar state for at least the last two years.
If a stay is to be allowed, he would suggest no more than twenty-four hours.
Public Comment
Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment with no one indicating a
desire to speak.
Strahan moved, Willmus seconded, to stay the enforcement until 4:30 p.m. June 22,
2021 and if not resolved then direct the Community Development staff to abate the
above referenced public nuisance violations at 1140 Roselawn A venue West, by
notifying a towing company to remove the inoperable vehicles from the property.
Roll Call
Ayes: Strahan, Groff, Willmus, Etten, and Roe.
Nays: None
