The area in question was <br />commonly known as Rosehill before and thinks this particular area <br />should be joined with Lauderdale. Their water has been unfit to drink <br />for over a month. <br /> <br />Clerk read the petition presented by the majority of the owners of the <br />property requesting the property be detached from Roseville and annexed <br />to Lauderdale. <br /> <br />Wil1mus stated that if you let one party break away you will have others <br />wanting to break away too. If this property is released and we should <br />succeed in running sewers into Minneapolis, through what property <br />would the pipes run? He was sure Lauderdale would not let us run pipes <br />over Rose1awn Avenue. <br /> <br />There was much discussion. <br /> <br />Hammersten moved, Carlson seconded, that we have the proper resolution <br />drawn to have this property released from Roseville in order to be <br />annexed to Lauderdale to be brought up at the next meeting. He wanted to know what had been done about amending the <br />Dog Ordinance. <br /> <br />Karon presented the Amendment to Ordinance #150 as drawn up according to <br />the request of the Council. <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Olson seconded, that Ordinance #177 amending the Dog <br />Ordinance #1,0 be adopted.
