ATTACHMENT A SECTION 5 – SCOPE OVERVIEW A clear description of “what’s in” and “what’s out” of the scope. - 220 fully assembled pads o 81ea will have the “Safety One Speed Skating Pro” foam design (pads 15 to 56 & 127 to 165) o 139ea will have the “Safety One Speed Skating Basic” foam design (pads 1 to 14, 57 to 126, & 166 to 220) o All cover material is made with Blue PVC coated fabric (670 g/m2) and a PVC netting (560 g/m2) for air evacuation o Handles and strap loops are heat-sealed using high frequency welding o All pads will have a Hook/Loop closure on the front and rear to connect to the pad to the next pad o All pads will have an identification label that is numbered for proper placement. o All covers will be made with a covering over the vented area that will extend down along the back of the pad and be sewn to hold covering down during windy conditions. - 1ea spare pad complete with foam - 2ea spare covers only - 2ea repair kits - 21ea Poles and accompanied strapping and ratchets o Poles are steel and chain connections to the ratchet system o All mounting components, strapping, chain, ratchets are included. o All poles will have a padded covering that wrap the pole entirely, including top, with openings for the ratchet system. - 223ea white 22oz vinyl bottom wraps (shoe wrap) matching size to the pads. o Wraps will be made with 22oz white vinyl and have strips of hook and loop to match covers for mounting and removal. 3 grommets will be present along the middle on the pad spaced evenly down the length. - 2 Representatives to accompany the system shipping to Roseville Oval and assist in setting up completed system. Warranty - Impakt along with Kaiser Manufacturing are offering a 1-year warranty for workmanship on all items included in proposal. 2 Years on material performance. - Warranty will not cover mishandling, machine or skate tears, or deviations from maintenance plan and procedures. - Any misuse of pads or strapping will void warranty What is not included in proposal - Kaiser Manufacturing and Impakt Sport Equipment will be able to physically drill and mount poles into concrete surface but will assist in location and instructions for mounting. - Calculations for testing results. o If requested, previous test results can be provided to the city based in historical pad in short track setting. All pads are designed and manufactured with the same technology and data used as previously tested pads. Specific testing done in part or as a whole system would be done at the expense of the city.
