Rd. C2. The petition had the required number of signatures <br />of property owners. <br /> <br />Mrs. Don Rose spoke for a few of the residents against the extention of <br />the street as they had their homes about 300 feet back from Oxford and <br />the new street would be too close to the homes. Most of the people have <br />nice gardens and do not want th~ distfurbed. <br /> <br />The ovmer of lots 4 and 5 are opposed to the extension as they want to <br />build æhome at once. Mr. Bush, owner of Lot 5, agreed to stay back <br />30 feet from t he proposed street and was told to come in and he could get <br />his building permit. <br /> <br />Harrm¡ersten moved, seconded by Olson that the matter be postponed for <br />two weeks to see if a solution could be arrived at. B2, <br />asked if some drainage pipes could be put through þart of the area so the <br />road would not wash out. The Engineer was asked to check on the condition. <br />l'1r. Nichels also asked that the plat numbers be reversed on the last <br />two plats submitted. <br />~M <br />I1r Patrick, 1252 Oakcrest, asked what C01.Üd he done about a drainage <br />pr~lem on his property. Don Carley said he thought there was a drainage <br />easement on the property and the lot could be sloped toward the ditch <br />but he would look at it and report later. <br /> <br />Mr. Nassif appeared before the Council to ask permission to install a <br />flexible wall in the Depot Nite Club so after closing hours he could close <br />off the bar portion and just serve food. A separate entrance would be <br />built into the huilding for restnuram~% purposes.
