RCA Attachment B <br />311 containers, recycling bags, or any other lawfully established waste disposal <br />312 device. <br />313 2.No person shall intentionally dispose of grass, leaves, dirt, or landscape <br />314 material into a water resource, buffer, street, road, alley, catch basin,culvert, <br />315 curb, gutter, inlet, ditch, natural watercourse, flood control channel, canal, <br />316 storm drain or any fabricated naturalconveyance. <br />317 G.Illicit Discharges andConnections <br />318 1.No person shall use any illicit connection to intentionally convey non-storm <br />319 waterstormwaterto the City's storm sewersystem. <br />320 2.The construction, use, maintenance or continued existence of illicit <br />321 connections to the storm sewer system is prohibited. This prohibition <br />322 expressly includes, without limitation, illicit connections made in the past <br />323 regardless of whether the connection was permissible under law orpractices <br />324 applicable or prevailing at the time ofconnection. <br />325 3.A person is consideredto be in violation of this ordinance if the person <br />326 connects a line conveying wastewater to the storm sewer system, orallows <br />327 such a connection tocontinue. <br />328 H.General Provisions: All owners or occupants of property shall comply withthe <br />329 following generalrequirements: <br />330 1.No person shall leave, store, deposit, discharge, dump, or otherwise expose <br />331 any chemical or septic waste in an area where discharge to streets or storm <br />332 sewer system may occur. This section shall apply to both actual andpotential <br />333 discharges. <br />334 a.Private sanitary sewer connections and appurtenances shall bemaintained <br />335 to prevent failure, which has the potential to pollute surface water. <br />336 b.Recreational vehicle sewage shall be disposed to a proper sanitary waste <br />337 facility. Waste shall not be discharged in an area where drainage tostreets <br />338 or storm sewer systems mayoccur. <br />339 c.For pools, the pool's water should be tested before draining to ensure that <br />340 PH levels are neutral and chlorine levels are not detectable. Pool water <br />341 should be discharged over a vegetated area before draining into the storm <br />342 sewer system. Unsealed receptacles containing chemicals or other <br />343 hazardous materials shall not be stored in areas susceptible torunoff. <br />344 2.The washing down of commercial equipment and vehicles shall beconducted <br />345 in a mannerso as to not directly discharge wastewater where drainage to <br />346 streets or storm sewer system mayoccur. <br />347 3.Removal of pollutants such as grass, leaves, dirt and landscape materialfrom <br />348 impervious surfaces shall be completed to the maximum extent practicable <br />349 using mechanical cleaningtechniques. <br />350 4.Mobile washing companies (carpet cleaning, mobile vehicle washing, etc) <br />351 shall dispose of wastewater to the sanitary sewer. Wastewater shall notbe <br />352 discharged where drainage to streets or storm sewer system mayoccur. <br />353 5.Storage of materials, machinery and equipment shall comply withthe <br />354 followingrequirements: <br />355 a.Objects, such as equipment or vehicle parts containing grease, oil orother <br />356 hazardous substances, and unsealed receptacles containing chemicals or <br />357 other hazardous materials shall not be stored in areas susceptible to <br />358 runoff. <br />359 b.Any machinery or equipment that is to be repaired or maintained inareas <br />360 susceptible to runoff shall be placed in a confined area to contain leaks, <br />361 spills, ordischarges. <br />362 6.Debris and residue shall beremoved asfollows: <br />363 a.All vehicle parking lots and private streets shall be swept at least oncea <br /> <br />
