RCA Attachment B <br />213 g.No fertilizer shall be used in establishing new buffer areas, except on highly <br />214 disturbed sites when necessary to establish acceptable buffer vegetation and then <br />215 limited to amounts indicated by an accredited soil testing laboratory. <br />216 h.All seeded areas shall be mulched or blanketed immediately in a method approved <br />217 by the City. <br />218 i.Buffer areas (both natural and created) shall be protected by erosion and sediment <br />219 control measures during construction in accordance with Section 803.04 Erosion <br />220 and Sediment Control. The erosion and sediment control measures shall remain in <br />221 place until the vegetation is established. <br />222 j.Buffer vegetation shall be actively managed throughout the three-year <br />223 establishment period. This includes but is not limited to: mowing, overseeding, <br />224 spot weed control, prescribed burning, and watering. <br />225 k.Buffer vegetation shall be established and maintained in accordance with the <br />226 requirements above. During the first three full growing seasons, the applicant or <br />227 developer must replant any buffer vegetation that does not survive. The applicant <br />228 or developer shall specify a method acceptable to the City for monitoring <br />229 compliance and verifying establishment of the buffer at the end of the third full <br />230 growing season. <br />231 <br />232 <br />233 Section 3. Effective Date.
