EXISTING CONDITIONS
County Road B is a Collector Street and west of '•:xT"'
Fulham it is on the City's Municipal State Aid
.'
Street (MBAs) system. This roadway was a
Ramsey County facility until 2014 when it was =
officially transferred over to the City'sjurisdiction.
The properties that abut the road are a part of a r
mature neighborhood. Land uses in this corridor
are as follows:
• LDR (Low Density Residential)
• LMDR (Low to Medium Density Residential): The twinhomes on Midland View Court, the
apartment building at the west end of the corridor, and a few undeveloped parcels on
the east side of Eustis.
• PR (Parks and Open Space): Midland Hills Golf course is located south side of County
Road B and the new city park is located at the west end of the project on the north side
of County Road B.
The existing pavement width of the roadway varies in from 32 to 40 feet wide. The road is
effectively 32 feet wide with two 14 foot drive lanes and an 8 foot bituminous pathway.
The road was constructed in the 1950's and most recently resurfaced in 2007. This County Road
B section is primarily a rural design with some gravel shoulders where parking occurs on the
north side. The segment has minimal or no ditches. There are some areas where drainage is
insufficient and little treatment of stormwater runoff.
None of the intersections west of Cleveland, nor the roadway segments have significant crash
history.
Existing
1
1 66*ft Right of Way 1
I A I
1 1
1 1
1 14ft 14ft aft 1
1 I Drive Lane Drive Lane Path I
Special Considerations
A.
