• Reviewed 2024 Proposed Fee Schedule. <br />• Ordinance Amendment to Title 8, Water and Sewer Rates and Collection of Charges. <br />• Adopted 2024 City Council Meeting Calendar. <br />• Approved Ramsey County Cooperative Agreement for County Road B from Snelling <br />Avenue to Lexington Avenue. <br />• Approved Final Payment for 2022 Villa Park Sedimentation Pond Improvements <br />Project. <br />• Approved Construction Cooperation Agreement for Street Construction on Roselawn <br />Avenue. <br />• Adopted Resolution Requesting SCORE funding from Ramsey County. <br />November 27 (upcoming) <br />• Hold public hearing and approve vacation of rights -of -way (various locations). <br />• Approve Professional Services Agreement with Bolton & Menk, Inc., for engineering <br />services for rehabilitation of the Dale -Owasso Sanitary Sewer Lift Station. <br />Engineering Updates: <br />o Lowry and Smith attended the American Public Works Association Minnesota Chapter's fall <br />conference. <br />o Lowry is serving a four-year term on the new Minnesota Active Transportation Advisory <br />Committee. <br />o Smith is serving on a Local Road Research Board (LRRB) Technical Assistance Panel to <br />develop "Public Works 101" outreach and educational materials. <br />Sustainability Updates: <br />o Submitted a letter of support to be a listed as a core partner on Saint Paul's Energy Future <br />federal grant application, proposing a planning project with partners across the state of <br />Minnesota to design a replicable financing and partnership model to aid with the cold -climate <br />residential energy transition. <br />o Staff is serving on a Technical Advisory Team with the Metropolitan Council to advise on <br />regional climate and natural systems policy initiatives. <br />o Staff attended Saint Paul's inaugural Climate Forum on 11/9 to learn more about their climate <br />action work, particularly regarding their Climate Justice Advisory Board. <br />o Roseville currently leads in the 2023 Intercity Home Energy Squad Challenge for most air <br />sealing insulation, and mechanical rebates per capita out of 25 participating cities. <br />o Staff will be attending the Rice & Larpenteur Alliance Winter Warmup event on 12/2 to <br />promote energy assistance and weatherization programs, the Minnesota Cold Weather Rule, <br />and other available programs to help residents reduce their utility bills. <br />Major Maintenance Activities: <br />o Street and Storm <br />• Gates are open for drive-in drop-off of leaves at the compost site. Staff manages <br />20,000 cy of leaves at the site. <br />• Started fall sweep October 30 and completed November 21 after snow melted. <br />• First plow was October 31 after the 3" snowfall. <br />• Ongoing maintenance/management of water break slurries at Ramsey County Kent <br />Street site. <br />• Page 2 <br />Page 10 of 348 <br />
