Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,January 8, 2024 <br /> Page 6 <br /> Mr. Freihammer indicated that was correct. <br /> Mayor Roe asked with the Dale Street conversion, does it make sense to see if the <br /> County can have somebody present what the final plan is and update the community <br /> and Council on that. <br /> Staff indicated they would check with the County. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment with no one coming <br /> forward. <br /> Groff moved, Strahan seconded, to approve the Public Works 2024 Work Plan. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe. <br /> Nays: None <br /> c. Consider Entering into a Professional Services Agreement with Referendum <br /> Communications Services for the City of Roseville <br /> City Manager Patrick Trudgeon briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the <br /> Request for Council Action and related attachments dated January 8, 2024. <br /> Councilmember Etten asked how far this work goes and when staff would take <br /> over. He also asked if the City would run a meeting, but the professional service <br /> would provide a slide show or paperwork to hand out. <br /> Mr. Trudgeon indicated that was correct and there would also be informational <br /> meetings. <br /> Councilmember Schroeder assumed the City Attorney was involved with this as <br /> well. <br /> City Attorney Tierney indicated she would be happy to provide advice and anything <br /> the City would need, noting this is something she has done for other cities as well. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe offered an opportunity for public comment. <br /> Mr. Roger Hess,Wagener Place <br /> Mr. Hess asked when the City asks the referendum question in the fall, would the <br /> City be asking the voters for permission to issue the bonds or asking the voters how <br /> they want to pay for the bonds.
