paui pink anti associates, inc.
September 27, 1984
Memo Re Pavilion Place
Page Two
8. Howard suggested that the upper level parking rows be oriented more
directly to south building entrance.
9. It was suggested that more landscaping be provided at both parking
levels to better screen automobiles.
10. Charles stated that the north property line fence may become an
important issue with the parking structure eliminated.
11. Paul Pink and Associates will re study entire parking area and auto
access.
12. Howard recommended that a parking variance be requested by Developer
if the previously discussed parking lot improvements reduce car count
below City Ordinance requirements.
13. Service doors at the east elevation would be unacceptable to the City.
Only Code required exit doors and exit ways will be allowed at the
east elevation.
14. Howard discouraged the proposed use of a decorative concrete masonry
unit. However, the issue was left open for discussion. Burnished
block, exterior ceramic veneer, integral rock face block, and/or a
combination of the above including brick may be acceptable, however,
samples or examples of alternate exterior finish and decorative
masonry detailing should be submitted to Howard before the Planning
Commission and Council meetings.
15. Due to the extent of the revision it was determined that the Developer
re submit to Planning Commission and City Council for approval. Revised
drawings will be submitted to Ron by Wednesday, October 3, 1984 for
Nove►i►ber Council Planning Commission meetings. The above drawings need
not be complete.
16. Dick determined that the required meeting with the neighbors should
occur on or before October 15, 1984.
IM/id
cc: All Present
Joe Weis
Orrin Ericson
Tim }seiner
