� <br />DIVISION 1 <br />GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />01100 - SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />hardware, pipes, etc. Contractor sh <br />all hall require his subcontract <br />ors tors to <br />cooperate and coordinate with him in obtaining the correct location of <br />items furnished by them. <br />C. <br />All specialty subcontractors (mechanical, electrical, etc.) shall be <br />required to provide correctly located, and set in place all sleeves <br />necessary for installation of their work, such items to be built into <br />place by Contractor. <br />D. <br />Contractor shall build all necessary recesses, openings, etc., as required <br />to correctly install work. <br />5. <br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />A. <br />On all drawings, figures take precedence over measurements by scale. Any <br />scaling is done at Contractor's own risk. Architect will decide on <br />questions that may arise regarding meaning and intent of drawings and <br />specifications. <br />B. <br />In the event Contractor proceeds with work without requesting <br />clarification of meaning or intent, Contractor shall be responsible for <br />correction of work, and do so at his own expense. <br />C. <br />It is the intention of the specification and the accompanying drawings to <br />provide a job complete in every respect. <br />D. <br />Contractors are to be responsible for this result and to turn over the <br />Project in complete operating condition, irrespective of whether the <br />drawings and specifications cover every individual item in minute detail. <br />6. <br />JURISDICTIONAL DISPUTES <br />A. <br />The Architect will endeavor to specify the work under the proper headings <br />so that it will relate to the separate construction trades in accordance <br />with accepted jurisdictional rulings, however, he shall not be responsible <br />for any differences which may arise due to disputes between the trades in <br />this respect. It shall be the responsibility of the Architect, working <br />with the trades, to determine which of the trades is to perform any <br />particular part of the work, and the inclusion of any branch under any <br />particular heading in this specification is not to be construed as a <br />directive in any way. <br />7. STANDARD DOCUMENTS <br />A. Referred to herein by basic designation only, shall be documents of latest <br />9 y <br />issue in effect, not later than thirty (30) days prior to execution of <br />contract. <br />5264 SECTION 01100 - 2 <br />
