DIVISION 1 <br />GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />01710 - CLEANING UP <br />6. <br />DURING CONSTRUCTION <br />A. <br />Oversee cleaning and ensure that building grounds and round <br />from accumulation of waste and rubbish, are maintained free <br />' <br />B. <br />Sprinkle dusty debris with water. <br />' <br />C. <br />At reasonable intervals, minimum once a week, cleanup site and access and <br />dispose of debris. <br />D. <br />Provide metal containers for collection of debris. <br />E. <br />Remove debris from site. Legally dispose of off Owner's site. <br />r <br />F. <br />Vacuum interior areas when ready for painting, <br />G. <br />Handle waste materials in a controlled manner. Do not drop or throw <br />materials from heights. <br />H. <br />Schedule cleaning operations so that contaminants resultingfrom cleani do nto fall on wet painted surfaces. ng <br />7 <br />FINAL CLEANING <br />A. <br />Use experienced workmen, or professional cleaners for final cleaning. <br />B. <br />At completion of construction, gust prior to acceptance or occupancy, <br />perform final cleaning. p y� <br />C. <br />Remove dirt, stains, labels, and foreign materials. <br />0. <br />Repair, and touch-up marred areas. <br />E. <br />Broom clean paved surfaces; rake clean other surfaces of grounds; va <br />polish g cuum, <br />and mop floors. <br />F. Replace air conditioning filters if units were operated during <br />construction. <br />G. Clean ducts, blowers, and coils if air conditioning units were operated <br />without filters during construction. <br />H.
