DIVISION 3 <br />CONCRETE <br />03300 - CAST -IN -PLACE CONCRETE <br />B. Submit copies of laboratory test or, evaluation reports for concrete <br />■ <br />materials and mix designs. <br />C. Submit concrete design mixes. <br />4. MATERIALS <br />A. Portland Cement: ASTM C-150, Type I or Type III. <br />B. Aggregates: ASTM C-33. Local aggregates of proven durability may be used <br />when acceptable to Architect. <br />C. Water: Clean, free of oils acids, organic matter. ' <br />D. Air -Entraining Admixture: ASTM C-260. <br />E. Water -Reducing Admixture: ASTM C-494, Type A. <br />F. Acrylic curing and sealing compound: <br />1. All interior slabs shal <br />l recei,a Sonneborn Kure-N-Seal, L&M Dress and <br />Seal or EUCO Rez-Seal. All exposed concrete as a finish material, <br />i.e, garage floors, mechanical rooms, shall receive a second coat <br />immediately prior to substantial completion. <br />2. All exterior slabs shall receive Sonneborn Hyrocide curing compound or <br />approved equal. 1 <br />3. All buried or concealed concrete, i.e. footings, bond beams, shall be <br />moisture cured by keeping concrete thoroughly damp and covered with <br />polyethylene sheets well lapped and sealed to retain moisture. Dampen <br />concrete as necessary to keep moisture for a minimum of seven days. <br />G. Form Materials: <br />1. Exposed Concrete Surfaces: Acceptable panel -type to provide <br />continuous, straight, smooth finish. Use largest practical sizes to <br />minimize form joints. <br />2. Unexposed Concr_'!
