Rough Sawn Cedar, select grade 1' <br />nominal with solid tight knots, except where otherwise specified on <br />drawings, or approved equal. <br />M. <br />Aluminum Soffit and Fascia: Prefinished, vented <br />N. <br />Plywood Siding: 1/2" thick cedar APA exterior grade. <br />0. <br />Sheathing Paper: Asphalt saturated organic felt meeting or exceeding ASTM <br />D226-68 for 15 lb., non -perforated type. <br />P. <br />Ventilators <br />I. Soffit Vents: Rudeen VSS-96-8 vinyl extruded prefinished vent strip <br />or equal. Color as selected. <br />2. Eave Vents: Colored plastic or prefinished metal 116" x 8" eave vent <br />with minimum 72 sq. inches net free area. Color as selected. R+tdeen, <br />Air Vent, Inc. or approved equal. <br />3. Roof vents are specified under Section 07300. <br />Q. <br />Bolting: Provide and install all bolts extending through one or more wood <br />members. Drill bolt holes 1/16" larger than bolt diameter, with members <br />held in place true to line. Ensure full engagement of nut, but when <br />projection of bolt beyond nut not to exceed one bolt diamter. Tighten <br />bolts when installed and again, immediately before concealing with further <br />construction, or upon completion of work. Refer to drawings for size of <br />washers bearing on wood. All ledger bolts to masonry walls shall have <br />steel plate or malleable iron washers. <br />R. <br />Glue. Use glues which conform to performance specification A,.F.G.-01 and <br />ASTM Specification D-3498. <br />S. <br />Metal Hangers Supports: 16 hangers framing <br />and ga. joist and anchors as <br />manufactured by Simpson Co.; Kant -Sag; Teco, Silver Metal Products of <br />Cleveland. <br />5264 <br />SECTION 06110 -3- <br />
