ENGINEERING REVIEW <br />Project Information <br />Page 5 - 0-10689 <br />The following data represents our understanding of the project. It <br />comprises an important part of our engineering review. If, as the <br />project develops, there are changes from the stated values, we request <br />that you contact us for additional review. <br />This project is quite preliminary at this time. We understand you are <br />considering a five story reinforced concrete building with one level of <br />underground parking. The exact building location and configuration has <br />not been decided at this time, however, we understand the building will <br />be constructed as far as possible to the east and southeast portion of <br />the site where better soils conditions were encountered. The lower <br />elevation (western portion) of this site will be utilized for on -grade <br />parking, lawn and roadway areas. <br />Inasmuch as building details were quite preliminary at this time, we <br />have no information regarding actual building loads. For purposes of <br />this report, we estimate maximum column toads will be on the order of <br />1000 kips per column. We further understand that tentative garage <br />floor elevation will be about elevation 88' with the main floor being <br />at about 97'. The parking and roadway area located to the west of the <br />building will be at approximately elevation 88' with some slope towards <br />the west to provide positive drainage. <br />SOIL exPLO Btlon <br />
