1 <br />employees will receive training about the plan and <br />' <br />become familiar with its location. <br />7.11 Corrective Measures. Any conditions noted during <br />the inspections, such as deterioration, malfunctions of <br />equipment or structures, corrosion of containers, etc., <br />shall be remedied within a scheduled amount of time <br />such that the threat to human health or the environment <br />will not occur. Any conditions noted where damage has <br />already occurred (leaks, spills, etc.) or where an <br />eminent hazard is noted, will be corrected immediately. <br />7.12 Inspection Log. The results of all inspections <br />will be entered into the Facility inspection log. Each <br />1 <br />entry shall include the date and time of the <br />inspection, the name of the Lnsoector, tl:e description <br />of the equipment or structure being inspected, a <br />notation of the observations made, and an indication as <br />to whether or not corrective action should be <br />initiated. If corrective actions are necessary, the <br />Facility inspection log entry will include a <br />description of the type and location of the repair or <br />action taken, as well as the dates of its initiation <br />and completion. <br />7.20 Inspection Schedule. This section delinea+ es the <br />equipment and structures at the facility which require <br />routine inspections. <br />7.21 Containment Ar(-as. The storage and treatment <br />containment areas consisting of concrete floor <br />surfaces, containment curbing, and trenches will be <br />visually inspected daily for signs of spills, leaks, <br />and structural defects (i.e., cracks, damage). The <br />spill containment trench in the truck unloading area <br />and in the storage area will be inspected daily for <br />signs of standing liquids. <br />7.22 Equipment Subject to Spills. All equipment which <br />may bA subject to spills will be inspected at least <br />once each operating day for signs of spillage or <br />leaxage. This includes pumps, valves, and associated <br />piping used to place the material .in storage and to <br />t <br />transfer it from one location to another. The results <br />of each such inspection will be entered into the <br />inspection log for equipment subject to spills. <br />7.23 Containers. The drums in each container storage <br />area will be inspected on a weekly basis. The results <br />of each inspection will be entered into the weekly <br />' inspection log fo_ the container storage areas. <br />All containers will be stacked one ) high in rows of <br />two (2), with the exception of st_ fied material <br />30. <br />
