Merila and Associates <br />STS Project 93492 <br />_. December 19, 1984 _2_ <br />Scope of Work <br />STS performed a series <br />of seven (7) soil borings ranging in depth from <br />ing ground surface at the <br />approximately 15.5 to <br />21.5 ft below the exist <br />n the enclosed soil boring location diagram. The <br />locations indicated o of STS after <br />boring locations were chosen by Mr. James Overtoom, P.E•► <br />bo 9 <br />The borings <br />discussions <br />with representatives of Merila and Associates. <br />were located <br />in the field by our drill crew by measuring from existing <br />landmarks. Gro <br />und surface elevations at the boring locations were <br />determined <br />relative to a bench mark (rim of an existing storm sewer) <br />repared by Merila and Associates. <br />shown on <br />the site development plan p <br />ark is located along the east side of the site and had a <br />This bench m ort, <br />referen <br />ce elevation of 929.6 ft USGS. For the purposes of this rep <br />all elevations will be referenced to this datum. <br />The purposes <br />of this report are to: 1) describe and evaluate the soil <br />conditions <br />at the boring locations, 2) recommend suitable foundation <br />.- wall system, 3) assess <br />types for the proposed structure and retai..ing <br />' affect the proposed design <br />the local ground water conditions which may <br />otential construction problems directly related to the <br />and 4 ) discuss p <br />design and construction of this facility. <br />
