ATTACHMENT NO. 1
We realized that the Architect, in
reading the variance requirements,'
had assumed that the 3' set back was
for the entire property line. The next
day I visited again with Mr. Larson
and explained to him what I had found
and that depending on how the minor
variance was worded, a portion of the
building may not have been included
in the setback variance.
After calls with Mr. Reseth between my—
self and Mr. Larson, we agreed to meet
at City Hall to resolve the issue so I
could proceed to finish the construction'
of my home.
We met at City Hall on April 13th with
the City Planner, Howard Dahlgren, the
City Officials, Gordon Beseth, Rick
Jopke and Mr. Larson. At this meeting,
we reviewed the blue prints and the site
plan and prepared a list of items that
I would comply with to Mr. Larson's
satisfaction. At this meeting, Mr.
Larson agreed to process an additional
minor variance to include the northerly
portion of the east wall of my home.
After this was resolved, I brought the
Building Officials up to date on the
current status of construction.
