1) An amendment be made to the comprehensive <br />plan which would change the property from <br />low -density to multi -family housing and <br />which would re -zone the property R-3A. <br />2) A variance from the established 15 foot set <br />back from the new right-of-way to the curb <br />line be granted to allow a 5 foot set back. <br />3) A special use permit be granted for this <br />senior housing project which would allow <br />for: <br />*a density variance. Although the pro- <br />ject will have 68 residents, there will <br />be a total of only 20 units. Sixteen of <br />these units will be clustez units with <br />four residents sharing a cluster parlor <br />and the remaining four will be one and <br />two bedroom units. <br />*a parking variance. The variance would <br />allow parking for approximately 50% of the <br />residents. (At the existing Elder Homestead <br />in Minnetonka, none of the 28 residents have <br />a car). Parking is pro-/ided for visitors and <br />the limited project staff. x <br />
