GROUP W CABLE, CASE 1695
Page 2
westerly to include the additional nine spaces_ inside the fenced
enclosure. This would appear not to have a significant impact on the
site or its environs.
4. Attached is a letter from 1Ar. Mark Mathews describing their proposal
for your consideration. This letter makes reference to considerable
efforts expended on their part leading to the solution to landscaping and
drainage problems near the southwest corner of the site contiguous to
the condominium structures. The letter also notes the use of the
southerly portion of the site for recreational puposes by the City of
Roseville. This use was proposed by the applicants and was included as
a condition to the original Special Use Permit issued in 1983. Users of
the scheduled recreation events at the site utilize Group W's parking
area. This appears to be a workable condition enhancing the City's use
of the property. The movement of the fence will reduce the parking
capacity by nine spaces (outside of the fence). There would appear to
be ample parking in the remainder of the open lot for this i creational
purpose.
5. The application is for a Special Use Permit for expansion of the parking
by 32
,stalls to the northeast of
the existing structure
and
_
tfie
movement of the fence to include
an additional
9 stalls in
the
southwesterly portion of the site.
Conditions to
be attached
may
include poured -in -place curbing for the perifery of
the parking
and
driveway area and final review by
landscape detail.
the staff of
engineering
and
