Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, June 3, 2024 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Strahan moved, Etten, seconded, adding the June 19th Juneteenth proclamation to <br /> the City's official proclamations. <br /> Council Discussion <br /> Councilmember Strahan thought it was important, noting the City has been <br /> supporting this proclamation event financially with volunteers and people for <br /> several years. Hold a Public Hearing and Consider a Request to Approve a Plat and <br /> Subdivision Variance (PF24-007) <br /> Senior Planner Bryan Lloyd briefly highlighted this item as detailed in the Request <br /> For Council Action and related attachments dated June 3, 2024. <br /> Mayor Roe asked if the City Council had any questions or comments. <br /> Councilmember Strahan indicated in Attachment 3, page 18 of the packet, there is <br /> a tree preservation and removal plan. She wondered if that was consistent because <br /> Mr. Lloyd indicated there was some inconsistency. She asked if this was the plan <br /> that the City would expect the developer to follow. <br /> Mr. Lloyd explained that was correct. He reviewed the plan schematic with the <br /> City Council. He noted he was trying to address that many trees are proposed to be <br /> removed in heavily graded areas that would be categorized as exempt from the <br />
