Attachment 1
sent to her via email in January 2024. It is our understanding that she planned to share
this information with the full County Board, and we hope to have further discussions
with them in the near future. In addition, I will be reaching out once again to our
suburban city governments to have further conversations around potential funding
support for 2025.

Finally, due to continued stagnant state funding affecting victim services agencies across
the state, there is also a pending bill in the state legislature requesting an increase of
$20 million in crime victims services funding in this session. Tubman is a member of the
Violence Free Minnesota (VFMN) Coalition, who is one of the coalitions representing
several victim service agencies in this request.
As demonstrated, Tubman is committed to exploring all avenues to reach the goal of
developing a sustainable funding model to provide these essential services to victim-
survivors of domestic violence moving forward.
I hopethis information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if
you would like to talk further. I’m happy to share additional information as needed.
As always, thank you for your ongoing commitment in meeting the safety needs of your
communities. Tubman is incredibly grateful for your support, and we look forward to
working in partnership to provide these services for many years to come.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Dickinson
Director of Legal Services
Tubman
jdickinson@tubman.org
651-789-6720

Qbhf!26!pg!286
