Architectural & Engineering Services <br /> <br />2.3Consultant Scope of Services - Project Phases <br />What follows is an outline of the expected work scopes to be incorporated into the final contract between the <br />parties, to be completed by the awarded Consultant. As part of the project process, regularly scheduled <br />meetings with City staff will be required. <br /> <br />2.3.A Data Collection and Space Needs Programming <br />The Consultant shall collect existing data and reports relevant to all aspects of the project. <br />2.3.A-1 Data Collection <br />The Consultant shall gather project background information including, but not limited to: <br />o 2017 Maintenance Facility Space Needs Analysis (see Appendix C) <br />o 2017 License Center Space Needs Analysis (see Appendix C) <br />o Civic Campus Master Plan (2021) (see Appendix C) <br />o Civic Campus Pre-Design (2022) (see Appendix C) <br />o Civic Campus Options Update (2025) (see Appendix C) <br />o Site Planning Survey(s) of existing condition including property lines, including VFW and city <br />parcels. <br />o Phase 1 - Environmental Site Assessments (ESA). <br />o Geotechnical work needed for design <br />o City information: e.g., Zoning code, Building Code, 2040 Comprehensive Plan. <br />o Sustainability Design such as MN B3 Guidelines (alternate scope) <br /> <br />2.3.A-2 Facility Tours <br />The Consultant Team Lead shall attend tours with the City PMT at each of the three (3) existing <br />facilities located around the Twin Cities metro area; public works facilities, license/passport centers <br />and dance studios. The goal of the tours will be to observe exemplary precedents to provide ideas <br />and generate likes/dislikes with the City team. Tour locations TBD, but considerations will be given to <br />projects completed by the awarded Consultant. Based on scheduling coordination needs, the <br />Consultant shall estimate three days of tours. <br /> <br />2.3.A-3 Space Needs Programming <br />The Consultant shall verify and update the space needs programming for the office/staff area from <br />the Civic Campus Pre-Design Study based on current information gathered from new interviews with <br />select City staff divisions. This work scope will include interview meetings with the following staff <br />groups: <br />o Public Works: Maintenance and Engineering <br />o Parks & Recreation: Maintenance and Seasonal Recreation Staff <br /> <br />Meetings: Consultant to define the full scope and quantity. <br />The required meeting minimum for City coordination is as follows: <br />o tƩƚƆĻĭƷ ƉźĭƉΏƚŅŅ ƒĻĻƷźƓŭ ǞźƷŷ ƷŷĻ /źƷǤ͸ƭ ta͵ <br />o Three (3) facility tours for each of the following; public works facilities, license/passport centers <br />and dance studios <br />Deliverable(s): Consultant to define the full scope. <br />The required minimum is as follows: <br />o Summary of facility tour findings. <br />o New site planning surveys. <br />o Geotechnical documentation. <br />8 <br /> <br />RFP Α MOC & LPCDS, Roseville, MN <br />Qbhf!5:!pg!354 <br /> <br />
