Architectural & Engineering Services <br /> <br />o Three (3) neighborhood meetings <br />Deliverables: Consultant to define the full scope. The required minimum is as follows: <br />o Meeting materials <br />o Meeting minutes and summaries <br /> <br />2.3.H Construction Administration (CA) <br /> <br />The City will be using a CMAR delivery method. The CiƷǤ͸ƭ ğǞğƩķĻķ /a!w Ǟźƌƌ Ņğĭilitate the construction <br />process and work with the City to keep the multitude of prime contractors on schedule and in budget. All <br />Consultant design team disciplines are expected to actively participate in the construction administration <br />phase of the project. The Consultant shall define the full scope of services required for completing the <br />/ƚƓƭƷƩǒĭƷźƚƓ !ķƒźƓźƭƷƩğƷźƚƓ ƦŷğƭĻ͵ ŷĻƭĻ ƷğƭƉƭ ƭŷğƌƌ ĭƌĻğƩƌǤ ĬĻ ķĻŅźƓĻķ źƓ ƷŷĻ ƦƩƚƦƚƭğƌ͸ƭ ķĻƷğźƌĻķ ǞƚƩƉ <br />plan. Key CA work scope responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />2.3.G-1 Regular On-Site Meetings & Observation <br />The Consultant will visit the site regularly throughout the entirety of the Construction Phase to <br />observe progress and verify work conformity with the Construction Documents. This includes <br />attendance at a regular schedule of Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) construction progress <br />meetings. The Consultant shall determine which design team disciplines should attend these meetings <br />based on the in-progress construction activities. Not all the design disciplines need to attend all of <br />the construction meetings. Therefore, the Consultant shall estimate construction meetings per <br />discipline on a weekly basis for the estimated construction duration of 36 months. <br /> <br />2.3.G-2 Typical Consultant Construction Administration (CA) Tasks & Deliverables <br />o The Consultant team shall be well versed in construction software platforms, e.g., Procore. <br />o Submittals: Review and provide approvals in coordination with the City. <br />o Requests For Information (RFI): Review and provide response in conjunction with the City. <br />o As needed, issue supplemental instructions (ASI) to clarify design documents relative to work <br />scope questions not resulting in changes to project costs or schedule. <br />o As needed, issue documents for changes in the work, i.e., Proposal Requests (PR), to address <br />potential modifications to work scopes that impact cost and/or schedule. <br />o Review potential Change Orders and coordinate approval direction with the City. <br />o The Consultant shall review monthly Pay Applications issued by the CMAR. Coordination with <br />ğƓķ ğƦƦƩƚǝğƌ ŅƩƚƒ ƷŷĻ /źƷǤ͸ƭ tƩƚƆĻĭƷ Manager is required prior to signature. <br /> <br />2.3.I Project Close-Out <br />The Consultant shall define the full scope of services required for completing the Project close-out phase. <br />ŷĻƭĻ ƷğƭƉƭ ƭŷğƌƌ ĭƌĻğƩƌǤ ĬĻ ķĻŅźƓĻķ źƓ ƷŷĻ ƦƩƚƦƚƭğƌ͸ƭ ķĻƷğźƌĻķ ǞƚƩƉ ƦƌğƓ͵ YĻǤ ƦƩƚƆĻĭƷ ĭƌƚƭĻΏƚǒƷ ǞƚƩƉ ƭĭƚƦĻ <br />responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />2.3.H-1 Substantial Completion and Punch List <br />When the facility is deemed sufficiently complete for City use, the Consultant shall confirm City approval prior <br />to issuing the official Certificate of Substantial Completion for the project. Based on the scale of this Public <br />Works project, the Consultant shall then attend multiple site walk through Punch List meetings as required to <br />identify items needing to be completed or corrected following substantial completion.
