PAG E 2
SUSTAINABILITY NEWSLETTER
What is your vision for a sustainable Roseville?
"What we cannot imagine is more
difficult to create." -Norma Kaweloku
Wong
A critical part of our Climate Equity
Action Plan development is thinking
about and imagining the future we want
to see! You can help add your vision
for Roseville in 2040 by contributing
to our "Roseville Diary 2040."
It's very easy —it's a simple, self -guided, anonymous form that helps you think about what
kind of a community Roseville should be in 15 years. The form is completely anonymous,
and only takes around 10 minutes to complete.
Fill out the form here! - https://Palebluedot.lic/roseville-climate-stories-project
There is also an opportunity to submit a video story, or submit any kind of story,
writing, or art related to your experience with climate change on this page.
We will also have an upcoming opportunity to participate in a storytelling
workshop —stay tuned for more information!
FREE Home Energy Squad visits
Is your home less comfortable this winter than you remember it being last
year? Home Energy Squad® can help.
Home Energy Squad is an energy efficient program offered by CenterPoint
Energy and Xcel Energy to their customers. When you have a visit, energy
experts will visit your home and complete an energy efficiency assessment.
They'll check your insulation, air leakage, heating system, water heater and
more, making recommendations for updates that will help you save energy.
As part of your visit, the experts who visit your home will also provide and
install energy -saving products, like LED light bulbs, door and attic hatch
weatherstripping and more, as needed based on the findings of your
assessment. You may even be able to purchase a smart thermostat and have
it installed during the visit for no additional cost.
Thanks to City of Roseville, your Home Energy Squad visit will be FREE with code Winter Chill. Schedule your visit
today to receive the energy assessment, products and guidance at no cost to you nowthrough February 28. For more
information on the Home Energy Squad and to schedule your visit, please visit mncee.org/HES or call 651-328-
6220.
Home Energy Squad® is provided by CenterPoint Energy and Xcel Energy and implemented by Center for
Energy and Environment (CEE), a local nonprofit.
