Elim <br />Summer 2025 Reflection Survey —The Climate and Health Team at <br />Ramsey County is conducting a survey asking residents to reflect on their <br />experiences with heat and air quality this past summer. The survey asks <br />residents to share their perspective on how the county should address <br />extreme heat and air quality. The responses will help inform the county's . , .. . . <br />heat adaptation efforts. The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to <br />complete. <br />Plastic Free Challenge —loin Roseville's Group! The Plastic -Free <br />Challenge is a month -long effort to reduce plastic consumption, especially <br />single -use plastics, in ways that fit best in your lifestyle and are most <br />impactful to reducing your footprint. Learn about ways to easily cut back <br />on plastic in your life and help earn points for our team in the process! <br />Click here to loin the team. <br />February Fix -it Clinic —Saturday, Feb 28th, 10:00am, 1700 Kent Street, Roseville. At Fix -It Clinics, <br />residents bring in small household appliances, clothing, electronics and more to receive free guided <br />assistance from volunteers with repair skills to disassemble, troubleshoot and fix items. Last item <br />accepted at 12:30pm; see list of items accepted. <br />Mending and Upcycling Workshop —Sunday Mar 1, 1:30 to 3:00. The most eco-friendly clothing is <br />what you already own. Join us at Ramsey County Library -Roseville for an interactive workshop on <br />reusing, mending, and upcycling clothing. Bring a clothing item along to get ideas for recycling <br />something you own. This event is a collaboration between Ramsey County and Resilient Roseville, <br />Roseville's sustainability organization. <br />Roseville Climate Equity Action Plan Community Event —Wednesday Mar 4, 5:30p-8:00pm. Join <br />us at in the Rose Room at the Roseville Skating Center for an exciting community event focused on <br />creating a more equitable climate future for Roseville! This in -person event will give you a chance to <br />provide your ideas for actions to address climate change while prioritizing equity and justice. A free <br />meal and a kids' activity table will be provided! Click here to learn more and sign up. <br />Draft Climate Resilience and Housing Decarbonization Roadmap—Minnesota Housing recently <br />released this draft for public comment, which will serve as a climate -focused guide for the Agency. It <br />identifies specific targets for Agency activities as well as recommendations for how individual teams <br />and programs can achieve our goals. They are taking public comments on the draft roadmap through <br />Monday, February 23, 2026, at 4 p.m. Email comments to katherine.teiken(CDstate.mn.us with <br />"Comments on Draft Climate Roadmap" as the subject. <br />Rice Street McCarrons Area Reconstruction —Ramsey County, in coordination with the cities of <br />Saint Paul, Roseville and Maplewood, is creating a new design for Rice Street between Wheelock <br />Parkway and County Road B. The road reconstruction is scheduled to begin in 2028. This initiative <br />continues a series of reconstruction projects along the Rice Street corridor south of Wheelock Parkway <br />and will be developed in coordination with Metro Transit's METRO G Line BRT Project.
