there for years. I run my two black labs. There are no ducks
or they would have found them. The quality of the water isn't
deteriorating the wild life. I took some crappies over years
ago and sunfish, and planted them. I don't know - I'm curious
to know how you people reasono t'fuat's inside that cranium or
whatever you call it.

MR. HONCHELL: In your -

l~. KULIG: Don't get nervous - I don't make you nervous.

MR. HONCHELL: In your 29 years you've been there. You
say the quality of the lake is the same as when you arrived.

rllR. I<ULIG: I'd say it improved. There are ducks on it now.

l~. HONCHELL: Would you say the water improved?

MR. I{ULIG: I don't drink the water. I don't go over there
to get a drink.

MR. HONCHELL: The reason I asked the question is because
the studies by the pollution Control Agency and our own people,
independent of these other agencies, are of the conclusion that
the quality of the water is deteriorating much too fast for the
way anyone would like to see it happen. If it continues at this
rate we will have the situation where no wild life will be sustain-
able in the area.

MR. KULIG: You see I always take somebody else's word and
when I do, it always costs my money. I don't like to pick on
politicians, but they always seem to have the suggestions - and
don't go too free with my money.

rm. HONCHELL: I'm sure they'll consider and remember your
comments.

MR. KULIG: For how long - five minutes?

MR. HONCHELL~ At least until the hearing is done.

MR. KULIG: I don't take whatever everybody tells me.
There's one born every minute and two to take them and I guess
(iIUludible) .

12
