<br />WHEREAS, on March 27, 1997 the Community Development Department <br />published a property ownership and land value chart for all properties in the Twin Lakes <br />parkway area. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 7, 1997 the Community Development Department published <br />a map of existing land use with a proposed new Twin lakes Parkway alignment. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 7, 1997 BRW completed and released the "Twin Lakes <br />Environmental Assessment Worksheet". <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 11, 1997 the Planning Commission held a hearing on the <br />Environmental Assessment Worksheet for Twin Lakes Parkway Realignment. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 11, 1997 the Planning Commission held a second hearing <br />and reviewed comments on the Environmental Assessment Worksheet for the Twin <br />Lakes Parkway Realignment. The Commission found no major concerns to comment <br />about. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 23, 1997 the City completed the Environmental Assessment <br />Worksheet on the proposed Twin Lakes Parkway and the City Council adopted findings <br />of no major environmental impacts. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 10, 1997 Property owners within 350 feet of the <br />proposed right-of-way were sent notice of hearings by Planning Commission and City <br />Council. Planning Commission Public Hearing held. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 22, 1997 the City Council held a public hearing and <br />adopted Resolution 9472 approving the Twin Lakes Parkway relocation as an amendment <br />to the Comprehensive Plan Twin Lakes Section and Thoroughfare Plan. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 6, 1998 the City received a Letter from City Attorney <br />Jensen explaining State Statute 462.359, regarding establishment of "Official Mapping" <br />for new right of ways. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 20, 1998 the City Council held a Public Meeting and Work <br />Session explaining the Official Mapping Process. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 30, 1998 Property owners within 350 feet of proposed <br />right-of-way were sent notice of hearings by Planning Commission and City Council. <br /> <br />3 <br />
