<br />COUNCIL MINUTES <br />July 23, 1984 <br />-2- <br /> <br />B-4 Kehr moved and Curley seconded approval of an amendment to <br />the zoning code allowing off-sale liquor establishments in <br />Bl-B, B-2, B-3, B-4, and Shopping Center zoning districts <br />as a permitted use in a shopping center, defined as: <br /> <br />A group of four or more contiguous units combined in a <br />single, architecturally united building, containing at <br />least 40,000 square feet of commercial space. Such <br />centers are located on a single lot, along with on-site <br />parking which is provided in direct relationship to the <br />types and sizes of the stores contained within them. <br />, <br />and as a special use in other structures. Nays: none. <br /> <br />0-1 Kehr moved and Curley seconded the adoption of a committ- <br />ment by the Council to provide financial support for the <br />operation of a speedskating facility in Roseville. Roll <br />call: Franke, Kehr, Curley and Demos. Nays: none. <br /> <br />E-l Demos moved and Kehr seconded the adoption of a resolution <br />setting a hearing for September 5, 1984 at the Planning <br />Commission, and for September 10, 1984 at the Council, to <br />consider the establishment of the municipal development <br />district and tax increment financing district for 500 <br />west County Road B. Roll call, Ayes; Franke, Kehr, <br />Curley and Demos. Nays: none. <br /> <br />E-2 Kehr moved and Franke seconded approval of Brad Borsheim's <br />request for 15 foot minor variance to north side yard <br />setback at 2498 Albert, with the condition that the <br />variance run with the existing structure only, and that <br />any further expansion into the setback area be subject <br />to another minor variance process. Roll call, Ayes: <br />Franke, Kehr, Curley and Demos. Nays; none. <br /> <br />E-3 Kehr moved and Curley seconded approval of William Mertz' <br />request for minor variance to allow the construction of an <br />addition to the existing house extending to within 20 feet, <br />7 inches of the rear yard property line at 784 Oakcrest. <br />Roll call, Ayes; Franke, Kehr, Curley and Demos.
