<br />Council Minutes <br />August 13, 1934 <br />-2- <br /> <br />B-3 <br /> <br />Kehr moved, Curley seconded that Shorewood Corporation's <br />request for rezoning from R-l and R-6 to R-3A and from <br />R-1 to B-1 and special use permit to allow a structure <br />with 61 units at 2231 Rice, be approved with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />SHORE WOOD CORP. <br /> <br />1) That the platting of the three new parcels be completed. <br /> <br />2) That the relocation of the sanitary sewer and the <br />construction of the water main be done to City standards. <br /> <br />3) That additional easements for new public utilities be <br />recorded, and that the old easements be vacated. <br /> <br />4) That proposed trees be kept off utility easements. <br /> <br />5) That joint driveway and access easements between all <br />parcels be recorded. <br /> <br />6) That approval from the state for filling activity on <br />State right-of-way be secured. <br /> <br />7) That the developer work to reduce the driveway grades <br />as much as possible. <br /> <br />8) That additional right-of-way to 49.5 feet be dedicated <br />along Rice Street. <br /> <br />9) That a nonmotorized pathway be constructed along Rice <br />Street. <br /> <br />10) That drainage plans be subject to Staff review. <br /> <br />11) That the access easement leading west of the parcel to <br />Marion Street be vacated. <br /> <br />12) That the project be developed according to plans dated <br />7/2/84. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />B-4 <br /> <br />Kehr moved, Johnson seconded that Chop Stick Inc.'s request <br />for special use permit to allow customer dancing and live <br />entertainment at 1744 Lexington be approved, with the condition <br />that a 6 foot high fence be constructed to screen the outside <br />trash facilities at the rear of the building. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />CHOP STICK, INC. <br /> <br />B-5 <br /> <br />Curley moved, Kehr seconded that St. Rose of Lima Church's <br />request for special use permit for P.U.D. and variance to <br />side yard setback to allow the construction of a garage ex- <br />tending to within 6 feet of the east side yard property line <br />at 1248 Eldridge be approved with the following conditions: <br /> <br />ST. ROSE OF LIMA <br />CHURCH <br /> <br />1) That the applicant submit a landscaping plan for review <br />by the staff. <br />
