<br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that Randy Harwood's
<br />request for minor variance and shoreline permit at
<br />831 Heinel Drive, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that Nicholas
<br />Schuneman's request for minor variance at 479
<br />Lovell Avenue, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:

<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the City Manager
<br />be authorized to sign a Purchase Agreement with
<br />Byron H. Hammersten, Junior for property at 266
<br />West County Road C at a cost of $83,000 plus 1987
<br />property taxes, title search, and closing costs, to
<br />be funded from the Park Debt Service Fund. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and Johnson.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the City Manager
<br />be authorized to sign a Purchase Agreement with
<br />Byron H. Hammersten, Senior for a six year estate
<br />for property at 266 West County Road C at a cost of
<br />$61,900 plus 1987 property taxes, title search, and
<br />closing costs, to be funded from the Park Debt Service
<br />Fund and Permanent Improvement Funds. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the bid for the
<br />purchase of one new 1987 Model Fire Truck, triple
<br />combination pumper, 1,500 gallon per minute hose body,
<br />booster tank, and all other appurtenances be awarded
<br />to Custom Fire Apparatus, Inc., in the amount of
<br />$163,185.00. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Matson, Cushman,
<br />and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that a public hearing
<br />be established on Monday, May 11, 1987, to consider
<br />R. R. Restaurants 2, dba Rocky Rococo Restaurant,
<br />application for On Sale Wine License at 2131 North
<br />Snelling Avenue. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Matson,
<br />Cushman, and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that Progressive
<br />Contractors, Inc. request for variance to the noise
<br />ordinance of Section 207.020 (D) for the Snelling
<br />Avenue project, be approved. The variance will
<br />allow construction to begin at 5:30 a.m. on weekdays,
<br />5:30 a.m. on Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m. on Sundays, and
<br />will allow cutting of cement for expansion joints at
<br />any time, if necessary. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />Matson, Cushman, and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the expenditure
<br />of up to $1,500 for the placement of a plaque on
<br />the B-2 bridge over I-35W, identified as Project
<br />84-16, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Matson,
<br />Cushman, and Johnson. Nays: None.
